Charity Golf Tournament raises $60,000 for North Texas Food Bank

Property Advisors Realty, Inc. 3rd Annual Premier Charity Golf Tournament was held at Hackberry Creek Country Club Monday October 16, 2017.

The North Texas community is seeing a "new face of hunger"- seniors, the working poor, and those who have been newly laid off are struggling to make ends meet. Feeding America estimates that 1 in 6 of our neighbors is at risk for hunger in the 13 counties served by the North Texas Food Bank. The figures for children are even worse, with 1 in 4 kids at risk for hunger. The North Texas Food Bank provides access to 170,000 nutritious meals daily, leaving a 30 million meal annual shortfall in the North Texas area.
